3 Tips from Someone With Experience

Things That Contribute to Forgetfulness.
Forgetfulness is quite common and also annoying as it may cause friction between people due to disappointments. Contrary to memory loss which comes at a later age, forgetfulness is very common for people in their thirties. People between the age bet of thirty to thirty-nine years of age show high levels of forgetfulness.
Forgetfulness is mainly caused by the high levels of stress the individuals in their thirties experience in their lives. The thirties are a very busy time period for every individual as they have a lot of things they need to handle and get on track and this can be very stressful. The stress comes from the pressure-laden on an individual by his or her career, the push to buy a home, get a spouse and start a family and also the need to maintain old relationships with old friends. You may find yourself forgetting this more often at this age due to the stress and for this reason go for workouts, yoga meditation sessions and spend time with friends as these practices help you meditate.
People in their thirties also suffer from forgetfulness caused by high levels of anxiety. Anxiety is very dangerous as it highjacks your brain making it very difficult for you to think. It is also hard for you to remember events from previous days as anxiety affects your short term memory centers. It is advisable to have anxiety treated as this will see you live a normal life by improving your thinking, decision making and judgement.
Lack of enough sleep can also lead to forgetfulness. Every night you should have a minimum of eight hours of sleep below which you don’t rest your mind fully and this leads to forgetfulness. Some extra sleep will fully rest your minds and rejuvenate the short term memory centers of your brain and this will boost your ability to remember.
There are medications which can affect your ability to remember. Paroxetine, Oxybutynin, Amitriptyline, and Cimetidine drugs are some of the prescriptions that can affect your brain and generally your ability to remember. Cold and allergy drugs which contain components of diphenhydramine, chlorpheniramine, or brompheniramine should also be avoided as they are known to cause forgetfulness. Avoiding these drugs will see you protect yourself from future incidences of forgetfulness and memory loss in your thirties.
Memory loss and forgetfulness are also a characteristic of an individual who consumes a lot of alcohol. If you have a drinking habit where you gobble large amounts of alcohol in a short period of time, you cause harm to your brain cells which in turn affects your short and long term memory centers.
The last factor known to cause forgetfulness in your thirties are your kids. Chances are high that you will forget many things around you including yourself when giving your kids the attention and affection they need.
